Two evenly matched semi finals resulted in Vincent Bertrand’s Bears facing Lucy Epstein’s Redwoods in next month’s final.
The Giants’ Hannes Sidorov surprised Bears’ Matteo Fedeli, but a no show from Harsh Poddar ended Giants’ competition. In the second semi final, Soul had some problems as CJ Tan posted below his average and Se Joon Jang did not show, so Sed Holaysan’s below average score got the point for Redwoods.
Meanwhile, in the Grand Combined Cup, we’ve reached the quarter final stage. Japan feature heavily, but while guaranteeing two semi final spots, Martin Merker vs Salih Alan means that they won’t have it all their way:
Rintaro Matsumoto vs Naoki Sekiya
Martin Merker vs Salih Alan
Jan Vondruška vs Ken Endo
Akio Tanabe vs Kota Morinishi
