The 2026 Puzzle Big Cup, Levelled Cups and Casual Cup competitions all got underway too this weekend. Takuma Muto edged out Aubin Danzo by 1 point, though it wasn’t all bad news for France as Valentin Miakinen beat Jeffrey Bardon 688-657. Prasanna Seshadri suffered his second cup defeat this year, losing 663-784 to Rintaro Matsumoto. Everyone in the Big Cup will be back in Round 2 though, unlike three of the higher scoring Brits: Neil Zussman, Adam Bissett and Calum Mailer all posting respectable scores but coming up against higher scores from Takuya Sugimoto, Michael Tang and David Jones.
