Online Puzzle Competitions

There are several sources of regular online competitions, in both Sudoku and Puzzle, and others who will have contests less regularly. You need to sign up for each different website separately, and some will also then send you reminders when their next contest will be.

The Grand Prix is the biggest regular online contest. There are monthly events for sudoku and for puzzles from January to August.

Logic Masters India hold their Puzzle Ramayan and Sudoku Mahabharat contests with 4-6 monthly rounds each year, usually starting from January too. They also have a Puzzle Expo with practice puzzles, as well as occasional ad hoc contests.

Puzzle Contest Japan has many online contests, on a slightly less regular schedule than the LMI and WPF contests.

Puzzle Duel has a daily puzzle contest on a single puzzle, as well as monthly leaderboards.

Logic Masters Germany hold online contests sometimes. Recently, this has mostly been other countries’ events, like the French Championships. They also have a Puzzle Portal with practice puzzles.

WCPN hold online contests sometimes, including their annual qualifying events.

UK Puzzles have occasionally held additional online contests, but primarily host their qualifying event on their platform each year in June.

The US team have a regular qualifying event each year as well, though they don’t host other contests.

Japan Puzzle Federation do an online qualifying event each year as well, though Puzzle Contest Japan has many more throughout the year (see above).

SFINKS host the Polish online qualifying events each year as well.
