The sudoku cups are getting to the serious stages now!
The big cup has the first two semi finalists. Vincent Bertrand used his great form and a rare blip from Tantan Dai to book his place, and Suzhe Qiu showed perfect timing to win his first GP round and book his. There are eight contenders left for the remaining two spots.
The levelled cups have also reached the semi final stages. There are contenders from lots of different countries vying for the silverware including a few big names from the Franchise Faceoff in the 540 and 420 cups.
Even the casual cups have got serious! Each cup is down to nine names. The top Red Cup shows China’s dominance of the Sudoku Grand Prix, taking 6 of the 9 spots, but while there is some overlap with the levelled cups, this format gives puzzlers a chance for an off week.
